We begin with a short discovery call to understand your goals, timelines, and budget. Next, we send a project proposal with scope, milestones, and fixed pricing. Once approved, we collect your brand assets (logo, colors, copy, photos), set up a shared folder, and create a staging site. You’ll see work in phases—wireframes, visual design, then development—so you can review and approve at each step.
Getting Started
New to DesignSynq? Start here. These cover kick-off, timelines, and what we need from you.
Most small business sites take 2–4 weeks, while e-commerce or custom features can take 4–8 weeks. Timelines depend on complexity and how quickly content and approvals arrive. We’ll give you a realistic schedule in your proposal and update you weekly.
We’ll request your logo files, brand colors/fonts, copy or page outlines, any reference sites you like, product lists (for stores), and admin access where needed (hosting, domain, or WordPress). If you don’t have content, we can write or source assets for you.
Yes. We frequently perform redesigns and upgrades—improving speed, structure, and UI without losing SEO. We audit your current setup, preserve what works, and modernize the rest with a smooth migration plan and zero-downtime launch.
Absolutely. While we’re based around East Legon – Okonglo, Accra, we work with clients globally using video calls, shared docs, and secure staging sites. Payments and contracts are handled online.
Services & Process
What we build and how we deliver it—DesignSynq’s core capabilities.
What platforms do you use?
For content-driven sites we use WordPress with a lightweight, secure stack. For stores, we recommend Shopify or WooCommerce depending on product complexity, payment gateways, and fulfillment needs. We’ll advise the best fit during discovery.
Do you offer custom design or templates?
We design custom, on-brand interfaces tailored to your goals. If you need a faster, budget-friendly start, we can adapt a premium theme—still ensuring it looks unique, loads fast, and follows best practices.
How do you handle content and images?
Provide your own content or let us create it. We write SEO-ready copy, source licensed images, and optimize everything (compression, alt text, schema) to boost performance and rankings.
Will my site be mobile-friendly?
Yes—responsive design is standard. We design for phone first, test across modern browsers, and ensure accessibility (contrast, focus states, ARIA labels) so all users can navigate easily.
Can you integrate third-party tools?
We integrate payments (MTN Momo, Stripe, Paystack), CRM and email (Mailchimp), chat/WhatsApp, booking systems, analytics, Facebook Pixel, and more. If it has an API, we can most likely connect it.
Pricing & Payments
Clear, fixed proposals with milestone billing. No surprises.
How is pricing structured?
We provide a fixed project fee based on scope. Typical sites fall into tiers (Starter, Business, Store) with add-ons for custom features. Your proposal itemizes each deliverable so you only pay for what you need.
What are your payment terms?
Standard terms are 50% to start, 30% after design approval, and 20% on launch. For larger builds we can split into more milestones. We accept bank transfer, mobile money, and major cards.
What if the scope changes?
We’ll flag out-of-scope requests early and quote them as change orders. You’ll approve any new costs before we proceed.
Do you offer ongoing plans?
Yes—maintenance plans cover security updates, backups, uptime monitoring, small content edits, and monthly performance/SEO checks. It’s the best way to keep your site fast and secure.
Who owns the website after launch?
You do. We hand over admin access, files, documentation, and training. If you prefer, we can continue managing everything for you under a care plan.
Tech, Hosting & Domains
Fast, secure, and scalable. We handle the heavy lifting.
Yes. We can register your domain, configure DNS, set up a premium host, and connect CDN/SSL. If you already have hosting, we audit it for performance and security before deploying.
We implement SSL, hardened logins, least-privilege access, firewalls, spam protection, and daily offsite backups. We also keep core, theme, and plugins updated and monitor uptime 24/7 on care plans.
We optimize from design to deployment—clean code, image compression, caching, critical CSS, lazy loading, and CDN. Our goal is excellent Core Web Vitals so your pages feel instant on mobile networks.
Yes. We safely move sites from Wix, Squarespace, or legacy WordPress setups—preserving URLs and SEO equity. We plan redirects so you don’t lose traffic.
E-commerce & SEO
Selling online and ranking on Google—what to expect.
Which is better for my store—Shopify or WooCommerce?
Shopify is excellent for fast setup, managed hosting, and streamlined checkout. WooCommerce gives deeper customization and lower long-term costs if you already love WordPress. We’ll recommend the best fit after reviewing product types, payment methods, and logistics.
Do you set up payments, taxes, and shipping?
Yes. We configure payment gateways (Stripe, Paystack, Momo), tax rules, shipping zones/rates, and transactional emails. We also install analytics so you can track conversions.
What SEO work is included?
Every site includes on-page SEO: semantic structure, keyword-aware copy, meta titles/descriptions, image alt text, schema, XML sitemaps, and clean URLs. We can also provide ongoing SEO campaigns for content and backlinks.
Can you migrate products and reviews from my old store?
Absolutely. We import products, variants, images, customers, and order history where supported, and we map redirects so your existing links continue to work.
